Help, need to find or replace rod tip of 2 piece Shimano Expride

I broke the tip portion of my very best/favorite 2 piece casting rod ( Shimano Expride 172H-2)

 

The base/handle portion is fine, but the tip is shattered into multiple pieces.  Anyone have advice for how to just get the tip section from Shimano elsewhere or am I going to have to pay for a complete new rod...???  

 

Any help, advice or direction would be greatly appreciated

    I am sure if you give Shimano a call they will help you. You may only have to pay for the tip portion rather than the whole rod.

    I'm assuming that being two piece your rod is JDM. You're likely out of luck.

    I would start with Shimano. There are a lot of good folks here with a lot of knowledge, but we can't tell you what Shimano will do. Start there for help, then let us know what they said.
