Tying feathers on my trebles just starting what all do I need to order like what type of feathers? When do you use marabou?

You might want to consider craft hair.  It is easier to work with than maribou.

Saddle hackle is commonly used.

Can anybody post pics of properly tied feathered trebles? I am interested in feathers that "load up" as the lure is moved and return to shape as the lure is slowed. Can anyone attest to this style and its effectiveness? Thanks

Use chicken feathers... Zell Roland uses chicken feathers on his top water trebles and he knows !

I tie all my own feathered trebles. Get some thread, colour doesnt matter, get some chinese **** cape of the desired colour, some flash and go to town. Seal it all up with some hard as nails and there you go! The feathers never want to lay flat so you'll be at it for a while when you first start.

zonker strips, duck flank feather, craft hair or arctic fox.
