Skeeter Owners! Your help needed!!

Featured Replies

I am looking at buying my very first Skeeter. It is a 2004 SX 190 with a 2 stoke Yamaha VMax engine. boat has only 40 hours on it it and in great shape. What are your opinions of Skeeter boats in particular of the SX 190? The guy wants 12,800 for it. What do you all think? I need your help!!

I'm partial as I run one. They are great boats. I would buy another in a heartbeat.

PM me and I will send you a website where the owners post their likes and dislikes.

I had a 2002 SX190 w/Yamaha 150 2 stroke till December of '07 and traded it in for a '07 ZX225 w/Yamaha 225 HPDI. Loved the SX190, great boat had no problems at all with it or the motor. Only reason I traded it in was for a bigger boat and a faster boat. I could run around 61-62 mph (GPS) in the SX190 by myself. Great layout, very fisherman friendly, stable in calm and rough water, easy to drive and tow. When I traded mine in, the dealer sold it about 2 months later for $14000. So I'd say $12k is a great deal on a '04 model.

i run a skeeter sx200 and i more than likely will only own a skeeter from here on out. they are smooth, fast, and there is tons of room in them.  I would highly recomend SKEETER!!

Skeeter boats are built with rough water in mind so they handle it extremely well; it's one of the few boats that perform better in chop that in calm water. Couple the reliability of the Skeeter with that of the V-Max and you have one rock solid fishing machine.

I've owned an SX series since 03 and love it!  Skeeter boats are quality!

I started fishing on a Skeeter, great boat!

I have that same engine and it is strong, 40hours?! Jump on it!

Skeeter is the company that started it all with the very first Bass boat...It continues today!  Some of the most stable, reliable vessels manufactured.  Yamaha is also an industry leader as far as your motor goes...I agree that this is a steal.  You won't be disappointed!
