What would you do?
They are single consoles. Although I wouldn't mind having a dual because I have two kids. Do you think the 285 would be a good buy if I were to get it bought for $11,500?

What would you do?
Ok, last question. Which would you buy, 2006 Stratos 275 ProXL with 150 Yamaha VMAX for $13,900 OR 2005 Stratos 285 ProXL with a 150 Yamaha VMAX for $12,500

What would you do?
It is a 2000 Evinrude and it does have the FICHT motor not the E-Tec.. I have been seing some good deals on the Stratos boats. I know there not the Quality of a Ranger, Champion, Skeeter, etc but they seem like a good value for the money. Buddy of mine owned a Stratos and loves it.

2009 BASS Southern Open/Harris Chain last Saturday-Exceeded Expectations
I had an opportunity to fish the BASS Southern Open last weekend as a Co-Angler. There was an amazing 197 entries. Even a couple FLW guys fished the open. I think overall BASS put on a good event and really exceeded my expectations. I had a great time and I suggest any of you that have never participated before to give it a shot. It was well worth it!

Fishing Industry Career
I have been in aviation now for nearly 15 years. I have done many aspects of it and I am now ready to move on. I, like the rest of you have had a desired interest in working in the fishing industry. I live in Central Indiana so opportunities here are slim to none. I have been following Pure Fishing websites and monitoring open positions. Seems like these types of careers are few and far between. Do you all have any suggestions on what type of fishing industry careers are out there and what companies can you work for? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Rod and Reel for bedding bass
Simple question. If you were in Florida fishing for bedding bass would you use a spinning reel with 12" flouro or would you go with a baitcaster? What applications would you use a spinning reel?

Nervous as you know what!!
Here what I was thinking- 1) Medium action spinning rod with 14# flourocarbon with 7" culprit Lizard for bedding bass 2) Medium heavy 7' rod with rigged with Power Pro and a SPRO frog 3) Medium heavy 7' rod with Power Pro with a lipless crank bait 4) Medium Heavy 7' rod with 14# Stren and a 3/16 weight and brush hog Alot will depend on water temp and whether or not bass will be bedding. Running the frog is my favorite thing to do. I have hard time putting that away. i live in Indiana what about you ZBass?

Nervous as you know what!!
One thing I am concerned with is what tackle to bring. I want to throw something consistant to what the pro is throwing. Do I need to bring a little bit of everything? Spinner, crank, worms, frogs/topwater? If you were in this tournament and you were bringing 4 rods what tackle would you rig them with? Thanks!

Frogs
I usually use the horney toad with a extra wide gap hook. Un-fortunately the hook ratio is pretty low but it does creat alot of comotion on the surface. I love fishing the toad.

Nervous as you know what!!
I sure appreciate the info. Thank you. I am really looking forward to it. Three days with nothing but fishing on my mind. Did you get paired up with an Elite Pro? What are the chances of that?

Nervous as you know what!!
Hi All! I signed up for my very first BASS Open Tournament on the Harris Chain scheduled for the end of the month. I was singing the bad weather blues here in Indiana and I thought how cool it would be to fish with some Pro's as a Co-Angler for the Open. Now that I am in the planning stages and I am so stressed. What and how much fishing tackle to bring. What tactics will my Pro be using? How am I going to get all my equipment from Indiana to Florida? Etc Etc Etc Have anyone of you ever fished the opens as a pro or co-angler? What should I do? What should I bring? I need help here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-?

Senko technique
I fished Senkos last weekend in a Tourny. I caught alot of fish with them. We were in clear water conditions with grass mats in 12 foot of water...Im in Florida by the way, I would keep the boat off the grass about 25 yards, and I would cast right in the center of the mat, let it fall to the bottom, let it sit for a second and slowly raise my rod tip. I used them with a straight shank 4/0 owner hook weightless and also with a small 3/16 bullet sinker.

Nitro Bass Boats
With my Laser 2 I do get 54 mph. Granted, that is with me and a light fuel load. I really don't want to part with my boat but I don't have time to fish right now. We may in the future go to a boat that would provide adequate entertainment not only for me but also my family. 21 pitch three blade just wouldn't work. I need something in the range of a 4 blade 19 pitch. I hate to spend 400 to 500 on a prop that I am not confident it it will work, plus they wont return the prop once used.

Nitro Bass Boats
I have a 2004 Nitro 882 with a 115 OptiMax and want some info on what prop to use to get a better hole shot. Currently I have a 20p Laser 2 prop and want to increase my hole shot performance. Any info? The Tracker Centers here in Florida are terrible when it comes to technical support. My boat is for sale. It has less than 20 hours on it and in perfect condition. It is yellow with a matching trailer, looks bad ***! I am asking 14,500 and it includes many extras. Awesome buy and save thousands on a new one. Email me for photos. I will take an additional $100 off the asking price for every scratch you find. I guarantee you wont find any!!! Awesome boat.
