What color/size/ size hook would you prefer for senkos?  Whats your technique?? I want to try and fish worms... Also if its not a senko what size wieght and technique?? Also how do you rig it

I fish all my senkos texas rigged and weightless. Most my senkos are the 6" version and my favorite color is a pumpkin. I use a 4/0 extra wide gap hook. If I can recall correctly J. Bagwell mentioned in one of his articles "The less you do, the more the bait does". Cast the bait let it fall and sit on the bottom, raise your rod, let it sink, do that all the way back to the boat.  Let the senko do what it does best, slow fall and wiggling tail to drive bass nuts.

Well considering there are a 100 posts on Senkos Im not really sure where to start.

My favorite way is wacky rigged and my favorite color is black/blue with glitter. I also use Tikki-Stiks instead of Senkos, they last longer and cost less but they're not as soft as senkos.

I fished Senkos last weekend in a Tourny.  I caught alot of fish with them.   We were in clear water conditions with grass mats in 12 foot of water...Im in Florida by the way, I would keep the boat off the grass about 25 yards, and I would cast right in the center of the mat, let it fall to the bottom, let it sit for a second and slowly raise my rod tip.  I used them with a straight shank 4/0 owner hook weightless and also with a small 3/16 bullet sinker.

I am beginning to love my Senko collection.....

It did take me a good couple of weeks to figure them out. Someone here posted something that basically said you cant fish them too slow....and thats dead on!

I am mostly use the Pumpkinseed and Black/Chartreuse Tail... Though I did give a natural/green a shot the other day and had a few decent fish.

I fish them Texas style with a 5mm rattle using the style described that JT Bagwell uses. I use 4/0 Gamakatsu Red hook. I think the clicking triggers reaction strikes. I also found some success just stripping the line slowly as if I were useing a flyrod.

Its true they do cost more than anyother softbait out there but it inspires confidence in me because of what I have seen. I feel that every time I cast a Senko I am going to get a fish.....I'll pay for that!
