  1. In Fishermans Bass. Ron Linder
  2. Road Warrior is the bomb
  3. Try those Storm swim baits. The ones that look like Shad or Baby Bass. Those might help with schooling bass.
  4. Abelfish is right. California bass are much more difficult to catch then in Florida, I can tell you that. California bass are spooky and finiky. Go to Castaic and tell me how many limits your going to pull out of there. I love Florida's bass fishing. More limits and bigger fish on average from my experience.
  5. Well considering there are a 100 posts on Senkos Im not really sure where to start.
  6. Now your hooked. Make sure you buy a lot of Senkos.
  7. Nothing makes me more pleased than to practice. Nothing makes more happy to learn. Nothing makes me happy to spend A BUNCH of money Then to get Skunked. It happens to all of us and IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. Good Luck Fellas
  8. Here we go again
  9. And On and On And ON
  10. Thanks A Lot Glenn. JK Lol Thank you guys
  11. I just read a response in a forum yesterday about a study done on bass being released after tournaments and how far they travel. Where is it ? Or was I on drugs?
  12. You can get transducer mounts for the trolling motor at Cabelas for 12.99
  13. Welcome to the Senko fishing forum. If there were no Senkos there would be no talk.
  14. Yea I know the feeling. I fished in a tournament a few weeks ago to start my qualification for this bass club. I practiced night and day fishing everywhere and everything. Im so ready for this tournament it wasnt funny. I was focused for 8 hours straight and missed 7 fish, while my partner triple limits and incedentially wins the tournament. My partner was cool though he hooked me up with the same baits I drove the boat ,short of him setting my hooks he did everything he could. Now thats frustration
  15. San Diego's Bass fishing is premeir. Definetely go to lake Wolford. No jet skis or any other boats pulling human bobbers from the back. Awsome structure, coves and pockets. This lake is a personal favorite.
  16. Originally Los Angeles California. Moved to Jacksonville Florida 7 months ago. I live in Mandarin and fish the river all the ponds and creeks and anywhere else those bass are.
  17. Im from California and as everyone knows the bass love trout. I would throw trout colored flukes. Im still a fan of Senkos, Maybe june bug colored. Good Luck
  18. Thank you all for your help. When you say hook the baits lower maybe I dont understand. I put the hook through the top of the Senko like I would a Texas Rig. I am also using wide gap hooks. Also Carbon hooks will dissolve? What brands are carbon? I use all brand at present.
  19. What kind of Pliers?
  20. I looked on the web page but the hook was down in the gullet. the barb was hooked in it. I couldnt get my finger in there dep enough to work it out. This sucks, I really dont want to kill fish.
  21. The hook was made by Matzuo. It says its carbon steel. If I use stainless Im screwed? What do other people use? Im not interested in destroying this population from a bad hook selection
  22. Will the hook dissolve if not ingested?
  23. Thank you for the advice. I was using 8lb test line, Throwing a Senko with a 2/0 hook. Both fish hit the worm as soon as it landed the water. I closed the bail and reeled in the slack and they were on. I fast cut the line on the second fish and he swam in circles and erratically then finally died. So fast cutting the line ? I dont know. Is there something else you suggest.
  24. I was out fishing my local ponds and having a good day until I hooked into a bass and he swallowed the hook. I tried going underneath the gills lightly tugging the hook every possible means. I tried to cut the hook low enough and my garbage pliers broke. The hook was deep in his throat and it started to tear so I just cut the line and than I released the fish. Second cast same thing. This time I just cut the line and let him go. About 5 minutes later I watched the fish trying to stay alive and then the fish died. How can I prevent this in the future.
  25. From Jax to Orlano 2 hours. Jax to Savannah 2 hours. They need one in Jacksonville.
