Best/Cost Effective Way to Ship Baits

Featured Replies

The short of it is that fishing no longer fits my lifestyle, so I will  be selling some of my equipment.

What is the best way to Ship NIB and or lightly used baits?

Thank you

Can I use envelope for baits still in their "bubble"  packages and what is a cost effective solution for baits that are no longer in their packages?

Thanks!

If the envelopes are over a certain thickness, they're considered 'packages' and charged as such.

Best bet, is use the smallest Priority Mail box you can get away with...a 8"x5"x1-3/4" box is $7.00, a 11"x8"x6" box is $13 shipped anywhere in the US in 1-3 days.

The shipping can be very confusing at the post office.  It seems the pricing is different every time I go.

And no one is going to buy a lure and then spend $13 for shipping.  I see sellers on EBay posting $3.25 shipping, so there are ways to get it done cheap.

If the package is under 16 oz, you can ship it USPS first class for usually under $3 to $7. It will depend on the weight and distance. That's the cheapest way I have figured out to ship items.
