Hi guys, so yes I was the one getting my BF a rod and reel for his BDAY. Well what I ordered is not here and backordered. I was getting the Lews Pro TI and a Loomis GLX rod. I have cancelled these and here is what I can get from my local shop or BP. What do you think, trying to get top of the line as possible without taking out a loan lol....He currently has a Lews Reel and Cashion Rod wanted something a step up from that....I can still get the Lews and Loomis setup I would just have to drive 1.3 hours to get from another bass pro.

Haha....He has a lews hypermag now is that an upgrade over that? 

Not familiar with Lews, but the Chronarch is a great reel

The Chronarch is an upgrade over any Lews reel IMO. Im not putting down Lews by saying that, I'm sure they make some fine reels but the Chronarch is really nice. I have 2 of them. I would get that and the Avid X.
