Posion Adrena 67ML for Vision 110

Featured Replies

Hello Guys,

I am wondering if you guys have any experience to throw jerkbaits using the new poison adrena 67ML spinning rod?

I usually throw the jerkbait in windy conditions via spinning setup, this PA 67ML has a shorter butt which I like, just not sure if the tip is right...

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

Which jerkbaits are you throwing?  Hard (exposed hooks) or soft (weedless)?

Are you fishing open water or heavy cover?  Targeting lunker bass or schoolies?

I love the part about Poison Adrena, but have my druthers about Medium Light.

Go with the 6'-11' MH  spinner for that. 6'-7" is a very light power rod. More finesse. I just received the 6'-11" for jerkbaits. Granted I'm talking 1/2 oz baits. Maybe little guys you could. I throw smaller jerkbaits on a 842S. 6'-7" is a cool stick though.

Hi Roger,

Mainly hard bait like vision 110 in open water, what I worried about is the tip is light to make the jerkbait dart.

Thank you thunerblack, that explains a lot, mainly I prefer the shorter butt of poison adrena 67ML, but based on your info I believe the tip is still too light to work the jerkbait.

There's nothing wrong with a 6' 7" long rod, but you won't be happy with Med Lgt power.

You'll have far more versatility with Med Hvy power
