Can you fish a Ned rig on a 5 weight fly rod

    I am sure you could but I dont think it would be optimal.

    Make sure you glue the ned worm on too.

    Thanks man I was looking for another way to throw it other than on spinning gear.

    Are you using a spinning reel on a fly rod or actually trying to cast it with a fly line and reel?

     

    Get a jighead with a keeper and skip the glue either way.
