The biggest myth is that it’s a bass when it’s really a sunfish!

 

white, yellow and strippers, (not the topless kind) are bass and don’t make nests, sunfish large mouth, small mouth, spotted, shoal, and Swanee bass are sunfish that make nests. Don’t believe that Eyelid thing either just a predator concealing from prey

Most common mistake I see is spelling it "stripper". I worked with strippers for 5 years and there is a difference :)

When the water temp drops bass will move to deeper water.  Although this does happen sometimes, they will also move to thick matted cover and hang out just below the thick Matt.  Especially on cold bright sunny days when the mat acts like a blanket!

Thanks Glen I had not seen this video before, but we have both experienced similar situations.  In florida we get those thick dense matts that bass love to hang under especially when the sun comes out on a cold day.  Great video as always, and thanks for all you do or us.
