46t graphite with Fuji K SiC guides and a lifetime warranty for $220-$240, and they don't look bad.

I never thought I would ever type these words, but one of the products I'm most excited to try is an Okuma rod ?

If they kept the weight off like the Helios line 3.3-3.5 oz I could see getting one. I prefer my Helios rods over Kistler H3.

Wow!   I agree.  Those could be a player.

Is the grip and reel seal all in one and plastic?  No thanks.  The grip looks way to short too.  Maybe if you palm while casting then that would work length wise.  Material is still questionable.

It's a pretty standard looking handle, aside from the lack of a grip behind the reel seat. I cast two handed 99% of the time and never have seen the need for a grip beneath the reel seat, so I think it will work well.

I got a rod (made for the company not to be named) for cheap because the original buyer cast one handed and didn't like the rod because of the handle.  I saw why when I made a one handed cast with it.  Darn near threw the rod with the lure.  Good thing I almost always cast 2-handed.

This handle looks like it has more bulk behind the trigger than the rod I have so maybe it will be easier to hold onto.

Yup.  I know you can mention some things with that company now, but I thought number eight was the same company and when I typed in a certain sequence (that had nothing to do with that company), I wound up with asterisks.

Must have been one that was overlooked. The filters on the number companies was removed awhile back but every once in a while we run into one of the names that didn't get changed back.
