NEPA fishing

Featured Replies

Funny thing happens, last sunday we were bass fishing at a lake here in Luzerne/Sullivan county. my wife was throwing a Mega Bass dark sleeper around 7pm she said she was stuck, so she tried to pull on the pole and about 10 ft from the boat a Hog jump and spits the lure. probably if she pulled real hard she might have hooked the fish. we were guessing 7-8 lbs easily. so off we continue to fish and called it a day. so yesterday we decide to fish the lake again. we got there around 3pm, we headed over to where she missed that big bass, she had the mega bass dark sleeper, my son was fishing plastic worms. and i was throwing the Wopper Plopper in black, we get in the approx area and i cast the whopper plopper on the second cast i catch a bass and was not sure how big, i set hard just in case it was a lunker, well guess what when it broke water he tried to spit, but i was fully prepared, my wife and son said thats him. finally got him in the net, was hoping if he ever hit again after last week it would be my wife, well she was happy i landed it, i will try to get a pic up. but it weighted 6lbs 10oz
