Humminbird

Featured Replies

Bought a new boat. Came with Lowrance 5" and helix 7 chirp g3n up front. Lowrance elite 7 at console with helix 7 msi mdi g3n.

removed the lowrances and the hummingbirds. I only have a Garmin 93sv at the console right now. I have a fortrex 80 w/ us2. Looking to either mount a transducer for the Humminbird or use the us2. not sure what exactly to do, as in what transducer I should use, and whether I should use which one.

It depends on which model you have.

To use the US2 just order the correct adapter cable.  Here is the list

https://www.minnkotamotors.com/learn/technology/trolling-motors/universal-sonar-2#Lowrance

That will give you 2D sonar only.  If you want more that that you will need to mount a transducer.
