  1. Same, I think I've collected all of the Fury series at this point and then some, plus a few in the other series. I still think its the best value and when they are on sales its a no-brainer. The only issues I've ever had with them was when I forgot to feed my rod locker breakfast and it chomped on a 703SF to get back at me.
  2. Wasn’t it like that last year? I thought they were 10% off the entire month
  3. You should get the Tatula P/F for this- it’s great
  4. That’s a really sweet picture!
  5. A-Jay just keeps posting pictures of the same fish and changing angles every few weeks...?
  6. I can second this- mine get beat up pretty bad and still look good. Usually it’s hard to justify something that’s a much higher price than what’s been working fine but these boxes are a pretty good investment in my opinion, so far.
  7. Exact same thing happened to me so I’m just buying ammo with it when it comes back in stock next decade.
  8. Same and these are in my price range but that attitude is garbage compared to how great companies like Dobyns are with customer service.
  9. So that’s where all the dirty jigs CA jigs went... ?
  10. The 2 day shipping for $5 not be available kind of stinks.
  11. Does anyone have any recent experience with an order from TW? How long are they taking to ship?
  12. It depends on which model you have.
  13. Mostly because of our salmon fishing. There are a few lakes that are also included in the list but rivers and streams are a no-no for drop shot fishing.
  14. I use to have a lot of free time when I traveled and decided to buy the 3 piece BPS Pro Qualifier sets for both casting and spinning since I could pack a small tackle box in my bag and carry the tube on the plane. Both rods did well - no complaints. one year I used them in IL, MI, MO, WI, MN, CA & FL with no issues other than the cost of my fishing licenses that year was crazy. I think they were originally like $100 but got them during one of their sales for like $80 or something each.
  15. I have a ton of Daiwa , probably 20, 7-8 shimano, 6 pflueger, 2 BPS, 1 gander mountain even and 2 abu. Daiwa is my favorite but I do like the Shimano Stradic and Curado K reels quite a bit. The worst value is the BPS pro qualifier and that’s at $50 for what I paid for it. Personally I think a Abu Silver Max is better. Best value are my 6 Tatula SV reels that were $135 and the Pflueger president is great for the money but I also got a Daiwa Fuego spinning reel for $40 from Cabelas which is an absolute steal.
  16. That was more of a joke but just so you know Chinese people can still leave China...that Great Wall thingy is more of a historical monument than an actual wall...plus airplanes and stuff are way more relevant now. Glenn is going to tell us to get back on topic so let’s go that route
  17. Are you hooking it crazy style or wacky?
  18. Honestly the amount of censorship here is getting close to China. Can I say China on here??
  19. Doubt it since the G3N models aren’t that old. I’ve had all generations of the helix- worth the money to buy a g3n
  20. I was just at D&R and I think they had an open box one of these.
  21. Buy the troll tamer and it’s no longer an issue though. I doubt a 55lb thrust would even be that bad - assuming this is a 17’ boat
  22. Sorry, did you have another buy one get one jacket deal to share ? ok...lets moveeee on! Sorry, had to Glenn! ?
  23. Heavily caution major purchases on eBay. I bought a new graph $1500- came damaged, reached out to the seller with pictures of the box. Sent it back 1 day later and seller won’t credit me and eBay refuses to step in even though they have history of the purchase, return tracking and acceptance of the RMA. Might have the worst customer service department I’ve ever seen and their satisfaction guarantee is a punch of BS.
  24. The 7.3 or 7.1, whatever it is - that’s my typical but water temps have been cool so I dropped it down to my 6 for the last few weeks since I had to slow down so much.
