I have 2 of these and have no idea where the dial is - I have 2 brakes on though but was about to back one off...now I have to play more. To be fair I’ve had them for a few years and really don’t use them much just bought some to see how they compared with my Tatulas. edit just looked and I do remember that dial. It’s all the way backed down so that makes sense. I started using one of these with Jack hammers and like it quite a bit.

The upgrade caused both of my g3 units to change the selected transducer. I would make sure you have the right one selected on the menu - also confirm that sonar is turned on.

I only use that feature when the water is up or down so it doesn’t kill my autochart maps

They are all easy to use if you spend a little bit of time with them. I use birds but can easily dial in my buddy’s Lowrance graphs. Unless you are barely using them, stick to main features outside of ease of use is my opinion.

What color are those brown ones- “grandmas couch”??

It’s like they don’t pay attention. Pretty sure I’ve never heard anyone say how they got their rod from dicks and it was a in a rod tube, wrapped and everything was beautiful. They’re pricing sucks most of the time and their rod shipping is garbage- Support the manufacturers directly or a real fishing store, not the big box store that likes money more than outdoor sports.

I have considered a lot but worry about the trolling and electronics plus anything else in the boat. I’m looking at a storage unit mostly so I can lock it up

Does anyone keep their boat at a storage facility during the season? I'm curious as to how this works out for anyone since it seems to be a tight fit in general with width and not being able to back straight in (in most cases).

There was a lot of ice still left when I was there last week- good luck! We are clear finally down here but still holding off a week or so before I get my boat out...mostly because my buddy has his ready to go already

I have a large bag (6) and medium (4) for 3700 boxes with a lot of extra pockets. I have about 20 3700 boxes labeled and swap them in and out as needed from my boat. I keep the plastics in the side pockets or a speed bag.

I looked at this since I fish jigs a ton- ultimately I looked at how many I go through a season and decided not to. The true factor here was I couldn’t find a jig I liked- after searching through a ton of options I finally found a good company so I’ll stick with them for now.

I’m about to start my project of organizing. I really need my boat out of storage to get rid of all this crap in my office I buy everything I need in nov and December based on lists I create that usually gets me through the season and then in feb I start with tackle organization and move to reel cleaning. By March I’m getting into boat upgrades and try to be ready to roll by mid March....then wait forever for snow to melt while trying not to buy anything. I bought a lot of extra tackle I probably didn’t need to this year and have more than usual for upgrades on my boat I need to finish. My son saw all of my pegboards and tackle and said “dad this is so cool, we need to show mom!” - never been so scared in my life.
