  1. Just don’t trade them our Michigan summers!
  2. Looks like you’re going right by my house- I’ll start packing!
  3. How far does everyone have to drive to their "home lake"- the one we frequent the most because we know there are big ones in there? I'm relatively close to my "home/favorite" lake at maybe a 1 mile but it takes a good 10 minutes to get there because of the route. Prior to moving I was 25 miles out and 45 minutes from my old home/favorite lake.
  4. I'm on a smaller lake in Michigan for most of my "close to home" fishing and I do the best on the north side of the lake early in the year where its shallow for a while before the drop. I've also done alright in back pockets in other areas but its really water temp that drives the behavior. Look for rocks that can absorb heat and factor that in as well.
  5. Making my decision to pick up the neo pearl a few months ago seem like a good one!
  6. Still waiting on mine from the Black Friday sale...
  7. I would have snatched up All of those jackhammers for $8 - great deal! I have 10-20 of them on my pegboard for next years season and they start to add up in cost.
  8. Is there a way to search only a specific sellers listings?
  9. The entire store is 25% off
  10. Next up -“does anyone know of the $5 coupon works during Black Friday” ?
  11. I grabbed one last year for their sale. Not really a huge fan of the reel at a price over $50- at $50 it’s ok but when you can get a Fuego CT for a hair more on eBay I’m usually going to go that way
  12. Customer<—retailer<—distributor<—manufacturer drop ships are usually a possibility though if you call.
  13. Helix 10 mega si g2 for $999 wasn’t bad though
  14. A competition is different than commerce.
  15. Are you keeping this store a secret?
  16. AJ what are the two baits in the bottom, middle box in the lower right? Looks like one is a gill pattern and the other is perch but they have translucent body sort of.
  17. I thought the 100 was aluminum already. For $90 more it better be made of platinum
  18. Wondering if anyone has any hands on experience with these in either the regular or the p/f style. Looks like they are available everywhere now and wanted to hear some feedback before I jumped in.
  19. A deep V probably handles a bit better but I have an 18’ Nitro and Lake St Clare gets pretty crazy with wind over 12mph. I would double check with someone that has a similar size boat that fished Erie just in case if you haven’t already.
  20. I use #15lb braid with a 6-8lb leader. High vis yellow for braid with a regular FC leader. Fish it on a ML Dobyns Fury and a Tatula LT 2500. fishing mostly clear water 99% of the time as I’m in MI. Same setup for the Great Lakes too.
  21. Apparently that was short lived. Was there a code?
  22. What exactly did you. Hangs on your hookset? I have the same setup and usually lose a few every tournament when I’m skipping dOcks and I usually have a strong hookset with jigs. For some reason I can’t always seem to get the hook to dig enough in- I even switch out jigs every week now to keep them sharp but still notice it. Love the setup- I can skip forever and the shorter rod gives me some good accuracy too. For what it’s worth, Andy said the 6’10” was designed for shorter people intentionally, not necessarily skipping beginners...especially at an msrp of $180. I’m 5’10” and this is a good fit.
  23. Read through the one star reviews and be glad you didn’t purchase that pos. I was looking for a reel for guests to fish with and that thing sounds like a pile of crap. Nobody pays for 1 star reviews so you know what you’re looking at is most likely accurate. Even the 4 star reviews complain how the brakes don’t work and the reel birdnests. KK is a marketing company not a fishing company.
  24. I had a bad spool of Sniper FC which cost me quite a bit of money in lures and fish. As a result I switched to Seagur this year and have had a much better experience.
