Frog on a swim jig?

Featured Replies

Anybody fish a solid body frog like a Ribbit on a swim jig for suspended fish, or is it strictly a top water lure?

I’ve never done it but I will now! Thanks for the idea haha. I know a guy that fishes central FLA with ribbit style frogs and he said he has caught some monsters with them sitting still on the bottom and reeling  them in below the surface

I have used a Kalin's Sizmic Toad on my swimjig. I rig it vertical to make the legs look more like a tail.

Never tried it on a swim jig but, I have put a Zoom Horny Toad on as a chatterbait trailer with good success.
