What is the "best all around" gear ratio for a Curado DC?

    IMO there is no best all-around. More personal preference. I prefer XG's 8:1 in almost all my reels. You also need to decide what technique you are going to use it for, line diameter, etc. All those will also help to determine "best" for you.

    350:1. you can always slow down.

    7.2:1, easier to speed up than slowing down. Or 6.3:1 if you want some deep cranking or big blade on spinnerbait.
