Tennessee Fishing

Featured Replies

Going to Nashville next weekend to fish either Old hickory or Percy Priest. From Indiana so any advice on which lake to fish , where to launch etc. would be appreciated. Taking my 13 year old nephew so I want it to be fun for him.

I’ve never been to either but from what I understand, old hickory is more of a shallow cover largemouth type lake, where Percy priest has a lot more big smallmouth mixed in

Been a long time since I lived around Nashville. I would recommend  the two ramps off Rt. 109, which is between Gallatin and Mt Juliet. Flippers bait and tackle are right there also. This is in the river portion of Old Hickory. You have shallow, deep, grass, docks etc. right there. Priest , to me , is more crowded on weekends.
