Just wondering what is you guys' favorite type of spoon?  (And i dont mean to eat with either!!!)  ;D

For fishing around grass/weeds, a Mepp's Timber Doodle, hands down.

I haven't fished a spoon too much, but I do like the Dardevels. I recently purchased a Johnson Silver Minnow and it had the absolute dullest hook I have ever seen.  I should have returned it to the store, but more bother than it's worth. I've been working on sharpening it.  Probably will use it somewhere where I won't worry about losing it. Doubt I'll buy another.

Now I am fairly new to fishing and was just wondering how you guys fish these spoons... With trailers, your styles of retrieve, etc.   :-?

I fish them plain.  I do not seem to get any action with a trailer.  I vary my retrieve based on what is working.  If a fast retrieve gets strikes, keep it up, if not, slow it down, etc...
