Finding used aluminum boats

Featured Replies

I am in the process of looking for an aluminum project boat, currently Facebook and craigslist are the two sites I look at. Anyone one know of other places to look?

Thanks,

He's looking for a project boat - something I tried years ago and gave up on. Your baby is water-ready now, Paul...not what he's wanting I think.

I figured that much...Although the Predator could use updated electroincs...

A project boat to me is a grand or less and something I'm going to put less than a grand into hence my 14ft Lund which now belongs to my son.

Ya, the project boat I started on was an old fiberglass tri-hull that had been left out in the weather...seats and floors rotting away. I got going on replacing the floor when I found out that while the inner hull was water-tight, the outer hull had a crack halfway down the length between the middle and port side.

Luckily, the boat had been free and I'd invested less than $300 at that point. Had it hauled away...
