Humminbird just announced the Apex. Screen sizes come in 13, 16 and 19. ?

Ya, I remember when we got a 25" back in 73 or 74 - it was HUGE compared to the old TV

 

Best of all - IT WAS IN COLOR! (Old one was a B&W)

Do you think the Apex comes with Roku features. It would be nice to watch Netflix. ?

It has HDMI in/out so I guess you can just attach your Roku.  The Apex starts at $4K so I'll probably just wait till I get home to watch Netflix on my $400 TV.

At what point do you just crack the head unit open and wire up HDMI to your own monitor? If I recall correctly MEGA has more data/resolution that even the 1080p res on the APEX, but definitely more than the 1200x800 nonsense. 

Of course this sounds like a project I'd never do, but I sure would watch the video of someone figuring it out :)
