I rarely fish a Senko with any weight.  It's natural motion is at its best when it falls through the water with just the weight of its hook.  I use a 4/0 GY Sugoi hook with my 5" Senkos(and a lot of other soft-plastic baits).  T-rigged Senkos can catch Bass but IMO, there are better baits(the Swimming Senko for one) to be used on a T-rig.  The original Senko just doesn't have much action down on the water's bottom IMO.

Weightless for me. The bait has better action without a weight, IMO. If you must use a weight, use the a small split shot for the best results.

I prefer splitshot.

Most of the time 5 inch, weightless t rig, sometimes weightless wacky rigged 4 inch

I always fish a senko weightless because from what i have heard there is no other way. Apparently the slightest weight can alter the movement. Although i have heard something about putting a piece of a nail in the tail of it for added weight, but you would have to ask someone else about that...

I always throw them weightless, t-rigged 5" Senko with a 4/0 hook and have always pulled a lot of bass in with them. 8 times out of 10 when i cast out, they hit it hard on the fall. IMO adding weight to a Senko completely kills the action

Mark:  Nothing special though I may move it a little faster than the original.  Throw it weightless and T-rigged depending on where you think the Bass are located.
