New Metanium DC??

Featured Replies

Don’t get too excited, just asking the question. Is there a new one coming soon. Seems as though there should be one on the horizon based on the 2020 non dc model. Anyone have any info or thoughts?

I think any new Met DC would have to be bigger than 20 Met B to get the chip on there.  Would be cool to see a smaller Met DC though, maybe something with core solid and DC would be awesome (and pricey).

I haven’t heard anything but as a product person, I assume a Met DC is going to come down the pipe in 2021. There isn’t much left for Shimano to refresh. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a new Chronarch as well.

Doubt we see a Met DC this year. I suspect there is a Chronarch with the solid body in the works but doubt we see it this year either. I would think it would have to be priced somewhere in the middle of the Bantam and the Met B.

Ok so assuming it’s staying for this yr at least do u guys like the metanium dc 2x as much as the curado dc? My thought is on my chatterbait setup it will lighter and a little nicer for chucking and winding all day.

Well, I don't have the DC, but the Conquest 100 might be my favorite reel!
