Does anyone have good luck with these big swim baits? I started last season in august, and had great success. No fish over 3.5lbs, but plenty of 2lbers. I’m ready to try them prespawn this year.

 

 

I throw keitechs a lot. I catch everything from dinks to donks on the 4.8, in fact my best fish last year (5.25 lbs) came on a 4.8, with many others between 3-5 lbs, also my pb northern came on the same lure several years ago. Going to the 5.8 ups the average size of fish caught but as you would expect the catch rate falls, I throw this size the most. Five or more bites on the 5.8 is a good day to me, with the 6.8 multiple bites is a good day, with the 7.8 any bite is a good day lol I don't throw this size a lot. I see we fish the same area, I bounce around lake county. Which sizes and rigging did you have luck with?

Gave away all my Keitechs and replaced them with Rage Swimmers.

Much better action at slower retrieve.
