The Goat

Featured Replies

Picked up a few packs to checkout as I'm a fan elaztech products.

First thought is they carry some bulk compared to the other non trd baits.

Not exactly sure what I will do with them when it warms up.  Looks like they will have some kick as a trailer, have the size to trig, and enough elaztech to put some float on the back of a jig.

Bring on the warm weather.

I tried out the baby goat on a Ned rig last year. Zero bites. I hope the regular goat does better for you.

I have the smallest size and caught some on a Ned rig late last year. On my 1/16oz heads the legs don't do anything, so if you want any kick, you might have to step up to a 3/32 or 1/8oz. Need to get some bigger ones for flipping after seeing how beefy they are in pictures.

Beefy is a good word to describe them.  There's enough beef to them that a 1/16th would have an incredibly slow fall rate.  Might have to pull out a bucket and play around.

Flipping them might give that little different presentation.  Guaranteed to hold up to some abuse as well.
