Anyone that has this rod.... Is it rated MF action as I’m seeing advertised? Or is it Fast ?

While technically it may be a mod-fast due to the blanks taper, you ain’t gonna be throwing anything with trebles, it’s a jig/ plastic/ frog rod through and through.

I should have worded it differently... since it’s rated they way it is.. is the tip a little slower since it’s rated that way..  not total broom stick... a lot of backbone but with a little slower tip.

It does load up a bit even on smaller fish so no it’s not a total broomstick, but it’s still a powerhouse of a rod. I use it a lot for it’s hookset power to throw 5.8 & 6.8 keitech paddletails rigged with beast hooks.

I concur, I use the rod for 1-1.5oz jigs in moderate to heavy weeds, the tip has a little give , not a total broomstick . For throwing heavy tackle or into thick vegetation, it's a an excellent rod.

Curious, are you using the XH 7'3", 7'6", or 7'11"?  I haven't been able to handle any of them in person.  Thanks!
