Got a few questions for the St. Croix guys. I'm thinking about getting a few different models of Legend Tournaments or Exprides this year but I was leaning towards the St. Croix as it is nearly impossible to pick up an Expride right now(in the power/action I am looking for). What I was wondering is if anyone has experience with the 7'4" Heavy for frogging and the 6'8" Medium Jerkbait Legend Tournaments and what you like/dislike. Also, if you happen to know if they come on sale on TackleWarehouse I would greatly appreciate the info as I have a large gift card I would like to use.

I have the 6'8'' Legend Elite M Fast and if the LT is anything like it, it's a great rod.  It works great for lighter T-rigged plastic, smaller jigs and of course, jerkbaits.  I can't speak for the 7'4'' but my guess is it will be stouter than the Expride. 

 

As far as a sale goes at TW, I have never seen a sale on them at that site.  I have seen them go on sale occasionally at local shops and shows.  Typically it's 20% off.
