Slider spider heads I have used these for 20+ years and in that time I haven't used a worm sinker or split shot at all. These have done everything I needed.

Slider rig definitely impressed me in terms of numbers. I use the 1/4 oz head flattened and trimmed as shown in the book on 4lb line.

  • Years ago, when I hooked my first bass on a t rigged plastic worm, I knew it was special. A simple t rig has continued to produce well for me for almost forty years now. I wouldn't go bass fishing wit

Ringworms ?

1972 after my second weekend trip in a row to Toledo Bend I had yet to catch a bass. As I stood on the dock unloading the boat I picked up my worm rod which had a Texas Rigged Blue Rebel Ringworm in it. I made a 20 yd cast to a cypress tree & was rewarded with a 3# chunk.

Since that day I've caught double digit bass across 5 southern states, won tournaments, caught my biggest stringers all on Ringworms.

2 years ago today I won a Dodge Ram with a Ringworm.

Love the 4 inch Zoom Dead Ringer, pumpkin or blue with chartreuse tail.  Caught a 9 pounder in one last year.  My favorite method in open areas is to throw it with a 3/16 bullet weight rigged Carolina style about 12 inches ahead of the worm.

What time of year do you fish WP? I bought two colors but haven't used them much. BTW, those baits sure are expensive!

All?  Any time I see fish on/near the surface the WP is one of the baits I'm throwing.
