Florida Bass Fishing

Featured Replies

The guy in the gator video is an idiot.
I mean who goes towards a gator to get better video. That looks like the Indian or Banana river area. Lots of small creeks with tarpon.  Everyone know what to expect there. At least those of us that have done that.  If you live in Florida you deal with gators. It’s a fact of living here.

@Chris at Tech That is a saltwater crocodile from Australia and surrounding areas in the video you showed. They are far more aggressive than the American alligator or American crocodile.

Yup, totally aware of that but I guess I could have mentioned it.  My intent was just to share a cool, related video ?

I saw that video a long time ago, it is amazing how fast those saltwater crocodiles are.

In Southern Michigan we don't have anything except for mosquitos, so I feel pretty lucky! I don't have really any experiences with gators when I visit Florida, but then again the last time I visited I wasn't really into bass fishing. And I'm glad alligators are more docile than those Saltwater Crocodiles, or I wouldn't be fishing in Florida!
