2020 Tat Sv, play/slop in T wing

Featured Replies

Newer to Daiwa and the T-wing. Was fishing a chatterbait today and noticed that it was creating a lot of vibration/rattling from the line guide area. To the point it was quite audible.

The line guide has a good amount of play to it, not sure if that’s normal or if there’s something I should adjust. I’m fishing braid main line so it does transmit a good amount of the vibration from the blade.

Any insight appreciated!

TWS side to side play is normal from the tatula to the steez line. It doesn't however have play in such a manner that would make it audible or tangible through the reel under load. There's a set screw on the side of it, make sure it's snug. It isn't difficult to move with your fingers but it shouldn't wobble during a retrieve.

I will definitely give that a shot as soon as I track down a small enough screw driver. Appreciate ya

@BigTimeBassin did you ever figure out the issue? I realized lately my twing is also noisy on a chatterbait retrieve.  And when i move the twing with my finger it wobbles quite a bit.
