Trying to find a old bait from my younger days. Need help!

Featured Replies

So I have recently been hooked by the bass fishing bug due to my nephew beginning to fish and he has been on me hard to teach him and pass down the knowledge I was given from the old timers when I was a young man just starting to bass fish.  Anyways I am just now trying to resemblances a collection of fishing equipment and re stock my favorite lures and baits.  I’m having a hard time finding a bait I used to throw a good bit around the spawn and post spawn and was hoping someone could help.  It was made by Slug Go and it was in their Arkansas Shiner color but the bait was called I believe the Slug Go Twitch maybe or something along that line but I can’t find any sign of it or really that it ever existed.  It was very similar to the original Slug Go but I believe it was a bit slimmer and had a bit more of a erratic action in the water.  Anyone have any knowledge or memories of this bait or have I lost it lol?    Would appreciate any help, thanks.

There are 3 possibilities that I can think of. It might have been the slug-go ss but they were like 7" and 9" I believe. The other two are the fin-s fish or the fin-s shad and there is a new one called a freaky fish that looks like a fluke. Lunker City has been making the same baits for a long time so I'm thinking it is one of the three, good luck in your search.

Lunker City makes the Slug-Go. 4.5...6...7.5...9 inch I believe the "Twitch is the 4.5.

Haven't seen the twitch in a while.

An original fluke is similar in size and action. Pretty easy to find. Even Wal-Mart usually has a few.

I could be wrong but I believe what you're remembering is the Lunker City Slugg-go was advertised as a soft plastic Twitch Bait.

Today they're referred as soft plastic Jerkbaits
