Looks like a "bush hog" or variant there of. Yes, still being made by at least a couple of co. Good bait

Sort hard to tell for me with the pic,

I frequently use them on punch rigs and occasionally as a jig trailer. They slow the fall rate of a punch rig without weeds clinging to them on the fall.  Added to a jig, you get a BIG profile bait.

It's someone's version of a craw tube for sure. They're a big fish bait for me. Not sure why, but they seem to get bigger bites when pitched around cover than other baits do. 

Good call A Jay looks that way to me as well. They work real well in cover...hey a tube and a crawfish lure in one. Chomper and BBB both work well....love crime scene-magic swirl-and tilapia. Around cover on the fall they work.
