Help ID soft plastic

Featured Replies

Ok so I have had a mess of bubble gum color soft plastic thingy's that I got shortly after the first Christmas ( me and Joe used to fish together when he was laid off from his carpenter job.).  Anyway..., they are about 5 inches long have a flat wide curled up tail, worm/grub head 1 1/2 -2 inches long, and two holes slanted in where you can put one or two lead nail like weights.

I like to fish these in the slop.  I drag them over the top and let them fall in holes.  They have a nice slow drop that can be controlled with the addition of the weights.  I'll twitch them in the holes then move on with them.

I acquired a basket full of them years ago, but am now running low and would like to get some more, but don't know what they are called.  Can you help.

Here is an even older one of similar design, red/glitter, and the last one I have left.  I would also like to get some more of these.

The only thing I remember that resembles the first one is the japanese "Swimming Snake" from Berkley ( Japan ).

The second bait resembles this one: Orka Shad (no weight pockets)

Brand name should be in mold where arrow is pointing

You would think so, but it's not.  That is the weight pocket and it has some scratch marks on inside from the lead nail weights.

I guess I will just have to settle on something close.  I sure liked the little weight pockets and the lead nails weights.  Good concept and they work well. :-/

Thanks for trying guys.

any body remember the Manns fishworld kangaroo baits Ill bet thats what they are thats why you dont see them any more
