Would this combo work?

Featured Replies

I have a 3500 size spinning reel, and I want to get a rod to go with it. I’ve been looking at a 7 foot heavy, but I don’t know if a 3500 reel is big enough for it.

Sounds like a good combo for some power spin fishing. I'm trying to figure out who has a 3500 reel.

I use a 3000 reel on my bass setups. 3500 should be plenty big , depending on what type of line you’re spooling up. I don’t ever go 10 # mono and it works perty good.

I meant to say “ don’t ever go over 10# mono.
