What affordable rod should I buy
So, I’m going in to my 3rd year of fishing and I’m slowly building up my collection. I got money for Christmas and I want to get a higher end rod and reel. I have a medium, and a medium heavy combo which pretty well covers most of my lures, but not all of them. I’d like to spend under around $150 on what I guess would be considered a “flipping and pitching” rod and reel. I’ve been looking into a Dobyns Fury 8’ Heavy Fast rod, and a 13 Fishing Inception Sport Z reel. Any advice helps.

Looking for information about rods.
I want to get into surf fishing on a budget. I have a 4000 penn wrath, and I want to get a rod to go with it. I’ve been looking at the diawa ft, and the penn squadron and I want some information on them. Other rod suggestions are also helpful.

What should I get?
Bluefish and stripers

What should I get?
I have 4000 reel and I want to get a rod for it. I want to get into saltwater fishing, and I want a rod I could use for surf fishing and on a boat. I’ve been looking at an 8 foot medium surf rod, and a 7 foot medium heavy inshore rod but I don’t know what I should get.

Is the reel big enough?
I have a 3500 sized spinning reel, and I would like to get a rod for it. I’ve been looking at the penn squadron 8 foot medium rated for 12-20lb line and 3/4-3oz lures, but I’m not sure if my reel is big enough.

Would this combo work?
I have a 3500 size spinning reel, and I want to get a rod to go with it. I’ve been looking at a 7 foot heavy, but I don’t know if a 3500 reel is big enough for it.

I want a cheap new reel for bass. I’m looking at the 13 source k 2000, and the penn wrath 2500. I’m not sure which one to go with.

KastKing Compass Telescopic Rods
I can’t speak on there rods but I’ve had kastking reels, and I’m pleased with them. I haven’t tried any kastking rods, but I did try fiblink collapsible rods, and they are great for the money.

What should I consider on my trip?
I’m going on a family trip to Ohio this summer (I’m from nj), and I would like some advice. I’m staying at a hotel about 10 minutes away from Lake Erie, and I’m thinking about trying fishing there. I am an avid largemouth bass fisherman, so I have tackle suited for bass fishing. This is my first time so what rods, reels, line, lures, or bait to use would all help me. Any tips or techniques would also be helpful.

Looking for new baitcasting reel
I personally like kastking equipment, they are great for the price. They have the speed demon elite, and the crixus that are in the $100 price range. I also like 13 fishing, they have a few reels in the $100 price range including the origin line.

What saltwater lures should I get
I’m planning on going on vacation this summer to ocean city, maryland, and I was wondering what some good tackle would be for surf fishing. I got a cheap saltwater combo, that I spooled with some braid I had laying around. I need some help deciding what lures or bait to get, this is my first time so I’m not really sure what I’m doing.

Fiblink rods
I ended up buying the rod, I’ve gotten to use it a few times and snagged a 3 pounder. I got the “crazy bass” 7’6 heavy 4 piece. It is as sensitive as a 1 piece, and feels just as high quality as my lews, and abu Garcia. I paired it with a kastking royale legend and 40 pound power pro, and no complaints. I’d say it was a great deal for the money.

Fiblink rods
I’m just wondering if anybody knows anything about fiblink rods, they have pretty good reviews and they’re very affordable. With it being a not so popular brand any information will help.

What size line?
I plan on using it for frogs, and the spool capacities are 90yds-65lb, 110yds-50lb, and 130tds-40lb

What size line?
I recently purchased a heavy power casting rod and reel with a line rating of 15-30 line. I’m having planning on using braided line for the most strength, I’d just like to know what strength line to go with.

What size braid?
I recently bought a 7’6 heavy casting rod and reel, and I’m wondering what size line to spool it with. I’m thinking about going with braid to get the most strength for the diameter, however I don’t know what lb test to go with.

Hi everybody, I’m in search of some advice for a rod, I am a young angler so I don’t have much to spend. My cousin passed down an Abu Garcia blue max casting reel, with thirty pound braid. I’m wondering what rod to get for my heavier bass lures (1-2 oz) and occasional light saltwater use. (I would like to spend around $50 if possible)
