Gm. Heading over to Gville for kayak fishing this weekend.  1st time on the lake and looking for suggestions with baits and approach for this time of year.  How much does the recent rain impact the lakes bite.  Thx

    It’s a tough time of year for a big limit there but frog in slop is probably one of the better options. Check out the articles and results from the BASS elite event there last fall

    Thx.  Just got back.  Friday: Missed a few blowups on the frog.  Boated a handful of shorts.  Broke off a few others.  Every one was on a fluke including a nice cat.   

     

    Sat was sloooowwww.    1 17incher and lost one more.
