GYCB Senko/Yum Dinger Crossover Colors?

Featured Replies

I’ve always used the Senko but would like to try the Dinger due to numerous posts about their better durability/cost. I’m hoping for some input on crossover colors between the two brands. In the Senko, colors 221, 301, & 956 have been good to me. With Dingers would Bourbon Berry, Watermelon Candy, & Camo come close to the Senko colors respectively?

I can only speak for the 956-Camo comparison. Camo is a lot like Strike Kings "Falcon Lake Craw" if you've ever used one of those baits. The belly  of the camo baits are a dark red compared to the orange of 956. Topsides are similar enough and they both have red flake, so I'd give it a go.

I have used the Falcon Lake. Yes, it is more red than orange. As you mentioned, it may be close enough.

Not directly related to this topic. I have noticed that the SK baits are not uniform throughout the package, they can vary between individual baits. Have you experienced this?

I haven't with strike king but have with other manufacturers. It's not something which bothers me much unless the color is completely off.

This is the color that produces the best for me just about anywhere I use it

Thanks, I’ll give it a try.
