With all honesty I prefer Floor to Tarja, not saying Tarja isn't a great singer but I like Floor's style and performance much more......

now that I come to think about it, imagine us all 50-60 years old in 20+ years at a retirement home, watching all those 70+ years old farts playing Iron Maiden or Judas Priest songs.

I still prefer Tarja - especially her duet with Sharon.

Another one I really like is Charlotte from Delain...her solo album since their breakup is pretty good too.

Most amazing thing is how she suddenly changes from  soprano to growl, completely unexpected.

Well said, Raul. I just saw The Doobie Brothers in concert in September. Not only do they still sound for being in their late 60s and early 70s. They even came out with a new album recently and Michael McDonald was with them.

For the most part, they just don’t make songs like they used to, but there are some newer artists who have been able to capture the essence of older genres and the young uns think it’s fresh, lol.
