Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits

Might change it up a bit.  Anyone use the legend glass rods?  Thinking about getting the 6'10MM rod for light squarebills. Anyone have any experience with this rod or any other legend glass rod?

I don't like any glass rods.  Tried a SC and promptly crossed it off my list.  Still chasing that elusive perfect crankbait rod for deeper baits in my arsenal though

I will add that if I could have only one blank as a rod it would be a the MHF elite.

Cool thanks. Do you feel the MHF can handle lighter (3/8 underspin) if needed?   Does the mh sc act more like a heavy in other brands? Or is it pretty true mh?

I don't throw light stuff on mine.  The M is better for that.  The MH is closer to a 4 power Loomis than a 3.  In fact, seems to have about as much backbone but a softer tip and more sensitivity comparing 844 GLX with it.

To be fair, my longest 844 is 7'4 and the MH SC is 7'10" so that may explain the backbone as well, but they are robust for their rating.

Ok great thanks!  I just spoke with st croix yesterday and they are out of everything even remotely close to 7'm or mh in elite line and xtreme line...said looking at late December at the earliest...

Bummer...although that isn't all that long and here we are already making ice.
