I am wondering is anyone has real world experience between these rods in the exact same action.  Do they fish differently in any specific ways or are the only differences between the cosmetic finish and choice of components?  
 

I guess the same question would apply to any two of the same models of these lines, I am just looking specifically at the 844c MBR.

I have a 903 NRX+ and a buddy has a 903 Conquest I spent some time with, and I don't see any reason to spend the extra money on a Conquest unless someone just likes the looks of it more or prefers to have the flagship model.

If you look for used rods, the price difference definitely shrinks and that made the decision easier for me so I could avoid the recoil guides, my personal preference.

Is the main complaint about recoil guides trying to pass leader knots through them?  People seem to either love or hate them.  Curious to know what the biggest complaint(s) is/are.  I have a couple of rods with them and don’t find them to be a negatives
