Daiwa Rebellion rods

Featured Replies

any thoughts on these spinning rods. was at a dealer today, they seem light, they had a few others over the 150 dollar range, the Tatula. the Tatula Elite, the Kage and the Rebellion

my son has 2 of these Daiwa Tatula's and loves them  TTU761MLMFS, they were hard to find over the last few months, but i see they might be available now

I have a 7ft Medium Rebellion spinning rod. I purchased it in the spring and used it all year exclusively for 1/4oz free rig plastic presentations. It has become my favorite spinning rod. I really like the feel and action on it. I found it was really responsive and set the hook well with braid to leader. I think they fish as well as they look.

I do not have any of the other Daiwa rods mentioned to compare to directly though. I would select a Rebllion again without question.

i’ve heard mixed reviews. my tatula elites are bar none my favorite out of their selection

I have the rebellion in  medium and its a good rod the tip is faster than the regular Tatula which i have 3 different ones. If your are using lighter technics say weightless finesse  to 1/8  I would go with the ML and if your going from weightless sencos  to 3/16 I would go with medium.

I've been interested in one for quite sometime, the x wrapping on the blank is just like the curado/zodias/expride blanks. It's also very similar to the evergreen combat stick blanks as well, knowing that daiwa is affiliated with evergreen maybe they used the same blank?
