Every once in a while while jerkbait fishing my reel back reels. Any recommendations on who to send it to besides Daiwa?

Thanks

Maybe Daiwa would look your reel under warranty?

If it's under warranty, The Tackle Trap is a warranty repair center .

I don’t think it’s under warranty anymore. I’ve had it few years.

Fortunately, AR bearings are easy to access on the Tatula LT if you wanna do it yourself and clean, inspect it. if you don't, still, contact the Tackle Trap about it. Warranty or not, they'll square you away.

Some companies & Tech Support WILL repair a out of warranty......IF It is a known problem. Been there more than 1 time. A call is cheap to the factory.  Get lucky.

i want to add about the Daiwa warranty, my son has a Daiwa spinning reel not sure on the model, anti reverse not working,  but it was close to 200 dollars, after 4 months of use he tells me he is gonna send it in to Daiwa along with the bill of sale, Daiwa calls a week later and said the reel can be repaired for  90 dollars, i ask about the warranty, guy said special lube is needed and yada yada, so i said send it back. they did and i took it apart and it was easy got to the anti reverse bearing, i washed it with WD 40 and relubed it with CLP oil. been working fine since, i own a few daiwa spinning reels no issues yet. but i thought Daiwa gave me a runaround on this claim

Lots of companies are hard up for cash now. Not surprising what they were going to do..

I’ll probably give it a shot I do all my baitcasters. Just never took a spinning reel apart. I’m sure I can do it. Thanks

I take lots of pictures as I take apart things. Saves a repair cost later.
