The LFS is solid, but Lew's higher priced reels with ACB are a different thing. If you get a chance to fish with a Lew's reel using ACB Quietcast Braking you might become a fan instantly. IMO, it's what makes reels with it quite special. I prefer it in every way to the 1st tier brand that also uses friction brakes.

    I'm not sure any brand could get me to switch from Shimano.  More likely, a decline in Shimano product quality would lead me to seek an alternative.  

     

    Curious what he might have to say, or if he has seen/used one.

    im sure the contract will stipulate what must be said as well as how
