Anyone use these and like em? Thoughts on how well they work with thicker plastics? Biggest size I could see on TW was a 2/0. General comments on experiences with these hooks are welcome! I like the idea of neko rigging, but not neko rigging with a spinning rod, tiny hooks, and light line. 

Lol @ $8 for 3 hooks. I just use plain ewg hooks rigged weedless neko (chicken rig/bwwk rig)and haven’t had any issues. Rig it the same way you would with that expensive gami hook. 

something like this except I skin hook the point back into the worm to make it more weedless

Dang it's only 3 hooks for that price? Didn't catch that. Yeah, I like the idea of using other hooks for this purpose as well. Thanks

I’ll try them in a couple years when they are on clearance because they haven’t sold. But right now it’s the latest thing Shin Fukae is hawking. Lol

I prefer longer shank hooks, easier to remove.

 

 

I'm currently using and find the 1/0 suitable for full size worms (Senko, etc.) and the 1 size for thinner worms (Trick, etc.), FWIW.

The hookup ratio seems like it would be pretty bad with this setup. Any users able to comment how it's been going for them?

Caught my first Neko rigged bass on one (#1/0) with a 5 in. Senko this past Saturday. Gently dragged it along some submerged wood, felt the fish, set the hook. Perfect hook up, needed pliers to remove. Don't see why it should be any worse than with any Texas rig. Don't find hook up problems there either, but then I try to maintain constant contact (tight line) anyway.
