Tatula elite 7’6”ml

Featured Replies

I have the Listed spinning rods and as curious if they would be to light for finesse mojo/Carolina rig? Or what would this rod be best used for? Besides spybaits and Ned rig

Mojo as you said

Drop-shot

Weightless plastics - Wacky, T-Rig, Flukes

Light Shakey

Light Weighted Wacky

Neko

That's what I toss on my Fury 702SF anyway - and the line/lure stats are similar

What list? The title 7’6” Tatula ML is too long imo for a drop shot rod. Not that familiar with the 7’6” rod referenced but it could be good 1/4- 3/8 oz small shallow crank baits, 1/16- 1/8 oz hair jig like Spro Phat fly or float & fly. The larger size soft plastics mentioned may also be a problem with hook sets.

You could make it work with smaller/lighter baits and really light weights using thinner dia hooks.  Even with braid setting setting the hook on a long cast or deep water could be tough.  I think a M would be the way to go if your planning on using weights over 1/8 and or bigger worms.

hair jig, neko rig, keitechs would be great
