Anybody have any experience here?  Would it be worth yakking around up there this week?

This is old information, haven't fished that area in years, but that creek needs a few more degrees, it's mostly shallow. I'd look near the mouth in deeper pockets if you go, and don't be surprised if it turns into a catfish trip. Snakehead  (and bass) is good in the warmer months, but hey, there is only one way to find out if they are there now. Caught my first on a spinnerbait yesterday across the Woodrow Wilson bridge.
