Omnia Fishing!

Featured Replies

Not real sure where to put this, but I called Omnia fishing today to ask about a couple of rods, and the service was some of the best I've gotten in a while. The person helping me went and got both rods in hand, talked to me about how they balanced, the differences in the actions and power, and knowledgably answered every question I had.  He even said when I get ready to order call back and he'll hand pick me one with good cork/straight guides, etc.

Refreshing to deal with a company that will go out of their way for you. They'll certainly be getting business from me.

I recently had them price match a reel for me.  They're only located about 3 miles from my house so its very convenient too.

I’ve been wanting to do there premium membership for orders but they don’t seem to have all (or even most) of the color options I want in some tackle.

May need to suck it up though if they’re as good as it sounds.

They're basically a bunch of fishing geeks that started a business in 2018 with some venture capital.

They are also going to be expanding - from an article in the Minneapolis section of BizJournals dated March 10, 2022.

"Later this year, Omnia will also move into a 30,000-square-foot warehouse in the southwest metro. (It currently operates out of a 6,000-square-foot warehouse.)"

Ya they said they're out of space where they are the last time I was in there.

SW Metro - probably Eden Prairie or Chanhassen - those are the places building up recently.

Course there's some empty buildings in the Jonathan Park area of Chaska too...maybe it's there. I know the old Softsoap facility is at about 30k ft-sq...I use to work for Minnetonka Corp and Softsoap was one of the subsidiaries.

Get yourself a premium membership so you get 10% back in store credit and also ask them about the 15% discount.
