First bad spool of Sufix 832 in 12 years

Well it finally happened. It wasn't major because I found it as I started to spool up a reel. It was a 600 yd spool of 50 lb. Test yellow 832. I had spooled a few reels and started another. I couldn't tie a knot that wouldn't break at the spool. I looked at the line and the line was frayed for about 8 inches then went back to normal.since it was just at the start of everything I just cut it out. It looked like when the machine spooled it it got hung on something and got abraided. I've never seen this before with Sufix

Glad you spotted it before hooking a big girl.
